Mashamaite Preparation Centre (Pty) Ltd was established and registered in 2021 by our founder, Mr Tumiso Akripas Mashamaite. He saw too many capable, hard-working people held back from formal qualification simply because they had never been properly prepared for the trade test — and he set out to change that.
From our centre in Rabie Ridge, we prepare students and semi-skilled workers across eight engineering trades. Everything we do is focused on one outcome: walking into the trade test ready, confident, and able to pass. Watch the short introduction to see who we are and how we work.
Mashamaite Preparation Centre is a fully resourced training institution with a team of qualified facilitators who have real experience on the trade floor. We are a 100% Black male-owned enterprise, proudly rooted in our community and committed to opening doors for the people in it.
We prepare candidates for the trade test, and the assessment itself is conducted at the INDLELA Testing Centre — an institution accredited under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Because your qualification is earned through an accredited body, it carries national recognition that employers respect.
Our training is practical first. We focus on the skills, experience and exam readiness that assessors actually look for, across the trades we offer: Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter, Millwright, Electrical, Fitting and Turning, Welding, Instrumentation and Plumbing.
